About Dr. Caudill
Dr. Donald W. Caudill (Ph.D. Virginia Tech) is a professor, entrepreneur, author, speaker, consultant, trusted coach and philanthropist. He knows marketing and advertising having taught and practiced both subjects for over 40 years. Since his youth, Caudill has been creating successful businesses including a small advertising agency, a marketing research firm and a consulting company (entrepreneurship is highly correlated with success). During his doctoral program, he studied under some of the top marketing thought leaders in the world and has taught marketing courses to thousands of undergraduate, master and doctoral students during his four decades of teaching excellence.
In addition to being skilled in advertising, promotion, publicity and public relations, Caudill has also achieved professional certifications in digital marketing – the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute and the PCM® Digital Marketing (Professional Certified Marketer) from the American Marketing Association.
Further, Caudill is a successful writer having published more than 100 articles in business magazines (including Entrepreneur) and professional journals. He is able to condense highly-technical academic/scientific research into practical, interesting, engaging and often humorous articles for magazines and online outlets.
Further, Caudill is proficient in other areas of communication and enjoys participating in radio and TV interviews and speaking to small as well as large audiences either live or via video. He has served as consultant for several firms and has “coached” a number of organizations and individuals. Caudill, who was born in poverty in the geographical center of the Appalachian Mountains (within a few miles of where Napoleon Hill of Think & Grow Rich! fame was raised), has honored his parents’ sacrifices for his education by giving away about $1,000,000 mostly to higher education institutions.
